A volunteer organization dedicated to protecting and conserving the waterways of Pictou County, Nova Scotia through hands-on projects and education.​

Work For Pictou County Rivers Association Summer 2019

Position: Conservation Technician
Location: Pictou County, NS

Position is open to applicants aged 15-30 attending High School, College or University in the fall 2019 and eligible to work in Canada. Previous experience working outdoors or an enjoyment of the outdoors is an asset.  Applicants should indicate the earliest date available to start work and provide supporting documents such as CV and cover letter. Fish Habitat Restoration projects keep our waterways healthy and productive for our native fish species.

We participate in the government sponsored Community Aquatic Monitoring Program to aid research initiatives related to our coastal waters.
